Why Plan Ahead?
Help take the burden off your loved ones by planning your funeral in advance, in a calm and thoughtful atmosphere.
Giving a little thought towards pre-planning your funeral can greatly help your family during one of the most difficult times. Not only does pre-planning your funeral give you peace of mind, it also gives you the personal choice of your funeral. A personalized funeral is a meaningful funeral, one that is a tribute to the life that’s been lived, not the death that’s occurred. A few questions that you need to ask yourself before you pre-plan your funeral include:
Will my requests allow my family to grieve in a normal and healthy manner?
Do my family members understand my requests and feelings?
Would I be able to do the same thing for them, which I have asked for myself?
Such planning is the first step in accepting that death is a natural part of life. There are two types of pre-planned funerals which are funded and non-funded.
A non-funded pre-planned funeral simply involves our staff coming out to meet you and organizing everything that you would like for your funeral. This information then is stored in your own personal profile folder and stored on premises until the time comes for the information to be used.
A funded pre-planned funeral also involves our staff coming out to meet you and organizing everything that you would like for your funeral. Through all this information we will then come to a final amount. This final figure then can be paid off fortnightly or monthly, or lump sum payments. No other hidden costs are involved and even as the prices of funerals increase, your funeral plan will be locked in with that price and therefore no extra costs will have to be paid.
What options do I have for a funded pre-planned funeral?
There are 3 main options to choose from
Prepaid Funeral Plan
We highly recommend taking out a prepaid funeral plan as the preferred choice. When considering funeral insurance, you may end up paying more in premiums over time than the actual cost of a funeral. Plus, insurance companies only run on average costs of funerals as oppose to finding out exactly what your personal funeral service may be.
